Todd A. Horton

Todd A Horton , 50, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Morton Hospital. He was the former husband of Tara L. Skwarto-Horton.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of Janet M. (Tageson) Horton Taylor and the late Albert P. Horton, Jr.

Todd previously worked for the Coca-Cola Company as a fountain installer for 23 years.

He was very artistic and was extremely talented at freehand drawing. Todd used these skills at designing t-shirts for the local law enforcement. He was a good father and family man.

Besides his former spouse and mother, he leaves his son, Kevin M. Horton, of Taunton; a brother, Scott K. Horton, of Lovell, Maine; nephews, Tyler (also a godson) Scott, Trace (also a godson) Mikey, and Colby; nieces, Kirsten and Alexandria; and a god son, Matthew.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a “walk-through” visitation will be held on Saturday , April 17, 2021 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at the S owiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services , 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton. Facial coverings are required to enter the funeral home and social distancing will be required.

Interment will follow at 11:30 am, in the Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton. Guests are asked to kindly meet directly at the cemetery due to the Covid-19 indoor social gathering capacity guidelines.

Handicap access is located on the left side of the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 in Todd’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
