Ronald T. Pinheiro, age 69, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of declining health.
Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Natalie (Wojcik) Pinheiro.
Ron worked as a clerk at Morton Hospital for 45 years, retiring in 2020.
He passionate about learning foreign languages and was fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and French even traveling to France 4-5 times. Ron participated in backing the foreign translations of “Our Bodies Ourselves” (a feminist handbook of health and wellbeing) he helped to publish the French African version and was actively working on doing a Brazilian version.
Ronald is survived by many cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Thomas Pinheiro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 8:15 am to 9:15 am, at Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in Saint Anthony Church, 126 School Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
