Richard A. Ernest, II, age 67, of Pascoag, RI, passed away on February 24, 2025, at Overlook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pascoag, RI. He was the husband of the late Pamela E. (Parrell) Ernest.

Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Richard A. and Sybil F. (LeForge) Ernest.

He served his country proudly in the United States Navy before his honorable discharge.

Prior to retirement, Rick worked as a regional sales manager for ADT Security Systems for many years.

Richard had artistic talent and enjoyed painting. He also enjoyed camping and fishing. 

He leaves his siblings, Joseph Ernest, Linda Dibble, Mary LaForest, Lois Pelletier, and Nancy Grady, and many nieces and nephews. Richard was the father of the late John Christian Ernest and Benjamin Allen Ernest and was the brother of the late Paul Ernest.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his graveside service with military honors on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl Street, Brockton. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton.
