Mary Hibbard

Mary T. Hibbard (Morrison) age 85, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at RegalCare of Taunton. She was the loving wife of Roy R. Hibbard for over sixty-six years. 

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Belot) Morrison.

She had resided in Cape Coral, Florida for many years and moved back to the northeast in 2016 to be closer to her family. 

Mary will always be remembered for her sense of humor that often brought smiles to those around her. Her family was the center of her life and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved.

A creative soul at heart, Mary found joy in crafting, ceramics, and playing board games. She also loved her lunch dates with her friends in Florida.

She will be remembered for her kindness, honesty, and caring nature. Mary was an awesome mom and will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters Deborah Hoyt of Norton and Jeanne Anthony of Bridgewater, her son Paul Hibbard of Taunton; five grandchildren, John Anthony III, Kirsten Anthony, Colin Hoyt, Derek Hoyt, and Paul Hibbard, Jr. and three great grandchildren, Joel Hibbard, Cole Hibbard and Layla Anthony who were the loves of her life as well as many nieces and nephews. She now rests in peace reunited with her beloved son Kevin Hibbard and all her siblings that preceded her in death.

Family and friends are welcome for A Celebration of Mary's Life on Sunday, August 11th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Axis at Lakeshore Clubhouse, 4100 Summit Drive, Bridgewater, MA. A brief service will be held at 3:30 pm for anyone who wishes to attend.
