Manuel Medeiros

Manuel "Manny" Medeiros , 78, of Taunton, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Morton Hospital. He was the loving husband of Kathleen A. (Moriscano) Medeiros and celebrated over 32 years of marriage together.

Born in Fall River and raised in Westport, MA on the family farm. He was a son of the late Manuel C. Medeiros and Theresa (Moniz) Medeiros.

He worked as a welder at the Quincy shipyard as well as a handy man for many years. He enjoyed watching the New England Patriots as well as the older TV shows like Adam-12.

Manny was very strong-willed as well as a kind and gentle soul who could talk to anyone. He was a “Jack of all trades” and was a master at all of them as he was extremely handy. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife and family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son, Manuel Medeiros, of Taunton; his stepchildren, Sheri L. Yurkins, Kathleen A. Cappella, Wallace E. Ellis, III, and Kathleen A. Peltz; eight sisters, Dorothy O’Brien, Rose Cabral, Margaret Lafleur, Theresa Williams, Paula Sousa, Geraldine Wright, Brenda Salvas, and Darlene Borges; six brothers, John Medeiros, Thomas Medeiros, Paul Medeiros, Gerald Medeiros, David Medeiros, and Jimmy Medeiros; several grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Virginia Pelletier and Robert Medeiros.

To honor the family's wishes, his services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date and family will be notified.
