Leah M. Bazzinotti

Leah Marie Bazzinotti-Fitzpatrick (Pike) age 69 of Taunton, formerly of South Boston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Fitzpatrick.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of George and Mary-Lou (O’Neil) Pike.

Prior to retirement, she worked for many years as a supervisor in the Department of Processing Services at Bank of Boston and later at Bank of America.

Her work ethic was admirable and known for being a hard worker. She had a deep sense of care and kindness toward everyone who was fortunate to cross her path.

Leah enjoyed her soap operas on television, especially One Life to Live and General Hospital and doing crossword puzzles.

She was a great mother and grandmother who will be missed deeply by all that knew and loved her.

Leah is survived by her two children, Jason Bazzinotti and his wife Tammy and Jamie and her husband Scott all of Taunton; three brothers, George, John, and James Pike; her grandchildren, Daniel, the late Domenic, Sebastian, and Marshall; three great grandchildren, Colin, Ava and their mother Siobhan, and Cameron and his mother Paige; as well as nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit Leah’s family on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at Sowiecki-Snyder Home for Funerals & Cremation Services, 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton. Her funeral service will begin at 5:45 pm before the conclusion of visiting hours.

Interment will be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester at a later date.
