Judith M. Lukasewski

Judith M. Lukasewski , 78 years old, died in Morton Hospital on July 20, 2016.

She was born in Taunton, daughter of the late John and Marion ( Halfyard) Lukasewski.

Judy was a communicant of St Jude’s Church.  She attended Taunton School and was a graduate of the Lemuel Shattuck School of Nursing in Boston.

For over 30 years Judy was a nurse in the Boston VA Medical Center retiring 8 years ago.  She primarily worked at the West Roxbury VA Hospital.  She loved reading and taking cruises to Bermuda.  Judy enjoyed her home and caring for her birds and dogs.

She is survived by her sister Jo-Anna Bernier and her husband Richard of Taunton and her cousin Kathiann Wood of Taunton.  Judy is the aunt of Richard Bernier,Jr and his companion Linda Beckman of Brockton and Nicole Allen and her husband George of Dighton and she is also the great aunt of several.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude’s Church on Thursday , July 28, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
