Jennie M. (Cwiek) Plentus

Jennie M. ( Cwiek) Plentus , 98 years old, died in Marian Manor on Sunday evening, Nov. 8, 2015. She was the widow of George Plentus.

She was educated in Taunton Schools and was formerly employed by Marias Hallmark Store in Middleboro. She had been a lifetime resident of Taunton and was a former communicant of Holy Rosary Church.

She is the mother of Joseph Plentus and his wife Virginia of Berkley and was the mother of the late Michael Plentus. She is the mother in law of Judith Plentus of Bourne and the grandmother of Jon, Joseph and Katie Plentus. Jennie was the sister of the late Walter Cwiek and she is the aunt of several.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in the Chapel of Marian Manor on Thursday Nov. 12, 2015 at 10:45 PM. Visiting hours are omitted. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements by the Sowiecki Funeral Home, 69 West Britannia St. Taunton, MA. She will be remembered as a kind, warm, generous fun loving woman who was a pleasure to be around.
