Helenia R. Bocook

Helenia R. Bocook, age 51, of Taunton, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Morton Hospital.

 Born in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of Carl W. Bocook, Jr. and Cynthia Bowker. 

Helenia dedicated herself to her role as a full-time mother and furthering her education in becoming a Psychiatrist. Her commitment to helping others was unparalleled.

She was an amazing woman of the world who could tackle anything she set her mind to. Her charm and charisma were infectious, and she embodied unconditional love, showering those around her with warmth and support. She certainly instilled these values into her children, guiding them through life with her philosophy.

Her many interests include: being an artist, and enjoying oil painting. Additionally, she tended to her garden and loved baking.

Helenia is survived by her children, Carlos DeJesus of Bluefield, West Virginia, Sylvanna Bocook of N. Chesterfield, Virginia, Dominic Bocook of Taunton, and Angelina Bocook of Taunton; and six grandchildren, Braelyn DeJesus, Julian DeJesus, Dylan Matton-DeJesus, Jayden DeJesus, Novie DeJesus, and Adrian DeJesus

The family will continue to honor and remember her life and services will be privately held.
