Frank Majcher

Frank Majcher , age 93, of Raynham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Longmeadow of Taunton. He was the husband of the late Mary (Gill) Majcher.

Born in Taunton, he was a son of the late Antoni and Tekla (Koval) Majcher.

Frank served his country proudly with the United States Army during WWII.

Mr. Majcher worked as a maintenance man at Wheaton College for 30 years prior to retiring. After retirement, he worked at the former Benjamin’s Restaurant, Ann’s Place, and the Golden Pheasant. He enjoyed traveling to Florida with his wife, and hunting and ice fishing in his younger years.

He leaves his daughter, Cynthia A. Majcher, of Taunton; a sister, Veronica McCown, of Raynham; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Frank was the brother of the late Stanley, Walter, Ted, Louis and Bridget Majcher and Agnes Cunniff.

Committal service and Interment with military honors will be held on Monday , September 12, 2016 at 10:00 am, in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton, to which relatives and friends are invited.
