Frank S. Brown, age 68, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Morton Hospital. He was the husband of Sharon L. (DeCosta) Brown. They were married for the past forty seven years.

Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Barbara R. (Vieira) Brown.

He worked as a cab driver for Checker Cab for over 10 years, providing reliable transportation services to the community he deeply cared about.

He was known to be outspoken, funny, and at times stubborn, but his genuine nature always shone through. Mr. Brown enjoyed fishing in both saltwater and freshwater. Frank's chicken and rice recipe will be fondly remembered by family and friends. His dishes were often prepared for family holiday gatherings. Additionally, his morning routine of enjoying a cup of black hot coffee from Dunkin was something he looked forward to every day.

Frank was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed watching baseball and NASCAR races. His passion for these sports brought him excitement and entertainment over the years.

In addition to his wife Sharon; he leaves his children Jason M. Brown, Sr., Kim A. Brown-Leverone, and Carrie A. Brown, four brothers Richard H., Mark S., Michael W., Charles E. Brown; two sisters JoAnne Bishop and Ruth E. Brown; nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert Brown, Vickie Brown, Alice M. Cowen, Barbara R. Mackinnon, and Nancy Brown.

To honor the wishes of his family, his funeral services will be privately held and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
