Anne S. Kula

Anne S. Kula (Strojny) age 102, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Marian Manor in Taunton. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Kula.

Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Curowona) Strojny.

She was a graduate of Taunton High School and attended Bristol County Business School.

Anne worked at Whittenton Garment Company and later as a secretary for the City of Taunton Civil Defense for twenty years, retiring in 1983.

Mrs. Kula is survived by her nephew, Stanley Wengal, and his wife, Joan, of Taunton, as well as several other nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Boleslaw “Bob” Strojny, Walter Strojny, Jennie Wengal, Edmund Strojny, Theodore Strojny, and Adolphe Strojny.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and staff at Marian Manor for the loving care they provided to Anne over the many years she was in their care.

To honor the wishes of her family, Anne’s funeral service and interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery will be private.
