Anne B. Kalacznik

Anne B. Kalacznik , age 90, of Taunton, passed away on September 8, 2015 at Epoch of Norton.

Anne was born in Taunton on February 7, 1925, a dear daughter of the late Theodore and Magdalena (Burel) Kalacznik. Before her retirement in 2005, Miss. Kalacznik was employed as a secretary and clerk for Superior Court Probation Department in Taunton. Anne was a life long Taunton resident and a graduate of Taunton High School. She was an active communicant of Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Solidarity Society. Anne also was a past organist, she directed the childrens choir and worked with her sister, Lode at the Annual Polish Family Picnics. She was a recipient of the Marian Medal. Miss. Kalacznik had a lifelong love for music, she sang with Haydn and Handel of Boston and enjoyed attending concerts and recitals. Anne was the beloved sister of Paul Kalacznik and his wife Eileen of North Wales, PA, and Fred Kalacznik of Taunton, aunt of Andrea Kalacznik of Lansdale, PA, Dr. Monica Kalacznik and husband Steven Rappaport of Norwalk, CT, Margaret Kalacznik of Maryland, Sandra Ross and husband Christopher of Norton and Jeanne Pratt of Newburyport, MA. She was the great aunt of Magdalena Ross and Benjamin Ross both of Norton and Ethan Rappaport of Norwalk, CT. Anne was also the sister of the late Joseph and Lode Kalacznik.

Anne Kalacznik's funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 8:30am from the Sowiecki Funeral Home 69 West Britannia Street, Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church 80 Bay Street in Taunton at 10am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. In lieu if flowers, Anne's family has requested that donations in her memory be made to St. Anthony's Church, 126 School St., Taunton, MA 02780.
